This advanced add-in library uses weather data in your Phrogram program, built on WeatherBug's API. It comes with a sample program that shows the many types of information about weather that your program will be able to use. It is tested as current and stable, and it is available for free!

To install, simply drag and drop the three files contained within the zipped folder into the same directory where your Phrogram executable is stored (usually c:/Program Files/The Phrogram Company).

Please note - - WeatherPro will run with Phrogram Standard or Academic, but not Express.

Also note - - This add-in library requires an Internet connection.

Weather Basic Add-in Library

This basic add-in library uses the weather datafeed from our partner WeatherBug and works with all version of the Phrogram programming environment - Standard, Academic or Express.

To install, simply copy the DLL and XML files to the installation folder for Phrogram on your PC. Then copy the sample .KPL program file into you’re ‘My Phrogram Files’ folders - - the place you access programs from within Phrogram. The sample program does a straightforward temperature, wind direction / speed and Pressure readings based on zip code.

Note: this add-in library requires an Internet connection.

Extended File IO Add-In Library

This is the release version of the Extended File IO Add-In Library. It includes the LaunchApp() method for starting external applications from within your Phrogram programs.

Be careful: there are methods in this library that allow you to delete and rename files and folders that can damage your PC. By downloading this library, you assume responsibility for issues with your PC.

To download, extract the zipped file folder into your Phrogram installation folder (default: 'C:\Program Files\The Phrogram company\Phrogram'). There are 2 files contained in this zipped folder: (1) Phrogram.ExtendedFileIO.dll, and (2) Phrogram.ExtenededFileIO.xml.

The DLL file is the library and the XML file is the definitions/help file for the Class Library Browser. To translate the definitions/help file into another language, simply open the XML file in an XML-capable editor and change the English entries to your language.
