Any idea when there will be an update on phrogram? One that includes some new features like volume adjustment?

Thanks

Nichole

Hi Nichole - glad you asked! We have two plans for updates - short term and longer term.

The short term is to upgrade the help system and to remove references to KPL because we're no longer distributing it. The longer term is to do a whole slew of things, mostly around improving the 3D class libraries. Timing wise, We're aiming to get the short term stuff (v2.5) done by July and the longer term stuff (v3.0) done by December, with a beta in the fall.

Volume adjustment is an interesting idea - - not sure how that easy would be to do, but we'll add it to the list. As things stand, we have a lot of "must haves" for the 3.0 release, and a bunch of "if we have times." This seems like an "if we have time" (and it's relatively doable within that time of course), so I'm not sure it will make the list but it's worth tracking as a possibility.

Oops. In reply to ZMan, I guess I just announced it! But consider this just what we hope to do, it's not certain yet what the exact dates will be.

Hey everyone,

Just a note to say that we have released Phrogram 2.5 as of today. I will write a separate post on what 2.5 covers but just wanted to "close the loop" on this thread as well.

Hi

Will my copy of Phrogram 2.1 be updated automatically to 2.5 or will I need to download and install a version from the web site.

Thanks

Dave

No, it won't. Phrogram will check to see if it is the latest version and let you know if not (in the messages pane) but you need to download and install from the website.

Also - very important - given some changes we made in 2.5, you need to uninstall 2.1 and we recommend deleting or renaming your existing "My Phrogram Files" folder. More about this will be in the email you receive with the download code.
