    Re: Help with sprites

Its always best to start a new thread for a new question.

Which program are you running - one of our examples or something you wrote yourself. Or are you describing a program you want to write?

    Re: Help with sprites

Yes but since Phrogram is to help you learn it wouldn't be good for me to just give you the code. It might even be a homework assignment....

Start by writing a program to load a single sprite and draw it on the screen - there are plenty of samples in the tutorials.

Then change that program to load 3 sprites - center, left and right and draw them at different places

Then find a program that reads the keyboard - again there are plenty of examples

Then add the keyboard reading code and depending on which key is pressed draw just one of the sprites.

    Re: Help with sprites

Now it really seems like you want someone to do your homework for you.

In general you are not going to find people to just do whole applications for you in here. Especially when its apparant that you have made no effort to even try to solve this. There are examples that come with the application that will do almost all of what you want. If you could not be bothered to spend time solving the problem why should someone else.

Please try to solve this yourself and then ask questions about the specific problems you are having.

    Re: Help with sprites

In my opinion you have just learned more than you ever would by just looking at other peoples work.
