My first game : Ninja vs. Tiki

This is my first attempt at programming - it was done for a class that I am taking. Since I literally made this game as I learned to use Phrogram, because of this - it is all over the place. The project is due today so this is as clean looking as I can get the code for the time being.

Description : This is a basic side-scrolling platformer. You play as a Ninja whose mission is to rid the world of evil Tiki Men, and collect gold coins. Your score is based on the number of Tiki Men you destroy, the number of coins you collect, how many lives you end with, and the height you reach on the magic Totem Pole.

Thanks to everyone on here that helped answer my questions as I made this.

Thanks - I'm glad you like it. I actually ran into a glitch that I need to fix involving enemy placement later in the level. I know what the problem is, so I should have an updated version ready in a day or so.

That was your first game???  I am surprized at how good it looks, for a first attempt.  Nice job.  My high score so far is 3200, but I think I can do better.  Thanks for sharing!

Are you using KPL or Phrogram, omg?  I think you're using KPL - and this program will require Phrogram rather than KPL.

Re: My first game : Ninja vs. Tiki

Just an update : when I tried to correct the code I got a message saying my trial version of phrogram has expired and then it closes. Is there any way to extend the trial?

Re: My first game : Ninja vs. Tiki

No, sorry - the point of making Phrogram commercial (but still inexpensive) is that at the end of the trial it must be upgraded.  KPL remains our free version, for those who can't or don't want to buy Phrogram.

    Charlie:

The file has disappeared from your web server... Can you upload it directly to the forums?  Thanks.

Hi - I'd be happy to... but I'm not sure how. I don't see an option to attach a file.

When you are replying to a post, there are a set of tabs in the upper-left corner of the page. Click the Options tab, and under File Attachment click the Add/Update button ( it doesn't look like most buttons though ). You will be asked to select a file to upload from your PC.
