Boy, a wealth of information from a simple question!
I appreciate your concerns Walt, but I think that this is a strength that Phrogram offers over most other languages. The simplicity is what attracted me in the first place since I was looking for a language/tool I could use to introduce my boys (11 & 14) to that didn't require a CS degree to understand. Within a couple of hours I had them modifying several of the included examples and getting fast, gratifying results.
On the other end of the spectrum, it's got enough sophisticated capabilities that an experienced developer like me can appreciate. I can build more advanced games for them while they can play and learn using the less advanced features.
So, as long as you don't break the features that make Phrogram simple, I'm all for supporting more advanced features and starting up an Advanced developers thread for registered users.
Thanks again to all for all the great information! I'm particularly interested in experimenting with the Interface support since it solves some pesky code structure issues I've been working around.
