Attached is our entry for the Fall programming contest. I hope it will be valuable to someone!

Our entry was put together as a group, myself and my son and daughter.

This is a spelling bee program that allows up to four people to compete in a spelling bee.

The sound elements include the pronunciation of the words and sounds for correct spelling.

The attached file has 50 words in it at an eighth grade level. An extra 500 word list is available as well as a separate download. You can also use your own words.

Simple animated sprites are also used to give a fun effect.

I played this on my own against myself at least that way I knew I'd win!

 This is quite fun actually...and if you miss-hear a word just pressing enter repeats again!

...think my programming though is as bad as my spelling!

rust_family - thanks for entering the contest, your program is very clever!

Anyone else entering the contest? We're down to the last week and I don't think we'll extend it again.

Might as well move on to something else if most people seem stuck on how to use sound to make their programs - of any type, I might add - more interesting!

We are definately entering...! And as a team TomDad effort after all...we have set aside next Saturday to finish off and it will be in time and uploaded just before the deadline!
