You might want to consider getting the Phrogram book by Jerry Lee Ford Jr., from the "Absolute Beginner" series (sounds like a fit!).
I think it's the most comprehensive explanation of how to get started in programming with Phrogram - the best first-timer language there is! - out there.

im new to programming all together and i want to know a place to learn the language for the phrogram app. becuase the built in tutorials arent doing much for me when it comes to actually learning it. thanks for your help.

I used the Tutorial 2 with the UFO picture and got it to run.
So I created a new program and called it My_sprite_2
Wrote the program exactly the same as My_sprite from memory.
Checked it against the original for errors. All correct including spaces and Case.
Went to Menu Code > RunProgram and it was greyed out ...
