  • Winter/Spring Contest - Butterfly Chase

This is a cool program designed by Melanie Rust, a second grader and 8 years old (helped a little by her dad). Although very simple, it demonstrates a lot of the programming principles, including math, useful in Phrogram. The goal of the game is to catch the butterflies with a net. Each butterfly has an equation on it. A matching value is on the ...

  • Runtime error. Question re Sounds and TechSupport

I wanted to post this in the Tech Support forum, but for some reason I don't have Write access there. My son was testing my entry for the contest, and somehow got this error: A runtime error has occurred, and the KPL debugger encountered an internal error while processing the runtime error. The only thing I have changed recently was to add ...

  • Re: Changing Sound Volume From Certain Positions

Hi Oy, the way that I've done this is to take teh sound file and make several copies of it from GoldWave and increase the amplitude a little each time I copyit into seperate files like Sound1.wav,Sound1.wav,Sound2.wav,Sound3.wav,Sound4.wav,Sound5.wav and call them in sequence as the object get closer: you can get goldwave at: ...

  • Re: Tons of bugs

Are you by chance using a Vista beta?  Noone has reported the problem you are with 3D models, so it makes me suspicious of a system-level difference. I have also not heard of an issue related to file size and sounds, and will test that.  Just yesterday I added a new downloads folder for Programming Resources, and started adding sound ...
